Fun in the Sun

Just had to share these fun pictures I took of the kids today. I took them to a splash pad park just down the street from my house and they sure did have a great time playing in the water. I really enjoyed watching them have so much fun playing and laughing. I can't wait to have more Summer FUN!

My Not So Little Preschool Graduate Paige

It was such an emotional morning watching Paige graduate from Preschool. Jon and I couldn't be any more proud with everything she learned this past year in school and she learned it all in Spanish on top of it. After her graduation ceremony we gave her a dozen yellow roses and a charm bracelet from James Avery with her first charm being a diploma with "'09" engraved on it.

My little girl is growing up. I just can't wrap my head around the fact that next year she will be at school from 7:50am to 3:00pm everyday and all of those school filled years ahead of her. Well guess it's time to enjoy Summer as best we can since I am now 28 weeks pregnant and am starting to get lazy in this Texas heat.

Here are some pictures of our Preschool Graduate:

Her Teacher asked her in Spanish what her favorite part of school was and Paige replied in Spanish of course, "Circle Time" and when asked what she wanted to be when she grows up she said, "a Firefighter".

Paige Performing It's a Small World...Muy Pequeno el Mundo es

Tonight Paige performed in her end of the year program at school. She attends Preschool at Spanish School House which is a Spanish Immersion school. Paige's class represented Argentina and performed "El Chorrito" and "Los Ratones Marrones".

She was such a beauty in her costume and twirled perfectly with her partner. Jon, Aiden and I were so proud to watch her sing and dance with all of her classmates. I can't believe she only has 1 day left in Preschool, she graduates next week.

Ready to Go TANGO...

Fabulous On-Line Finds!

Well I am visiting my dad and family in Paris, TN this week and I was having some serious shopping withdrawals while being here so I have been browsing on-line for my shopping "fix". Thought I would share some of the must have items I hope to get. Tomorrow we are heading over to Nashville for some more fun with the kids, I can't wait to share pictures from our TN trip it sure is beautiful here.

I MUST get this 1 - 12 month set for Harlow, I LOVE it; I have always done monthly pictures for the kids up to 12 months so it's perfect. I found it on Etsy by culpepergeneral.

My favorite clothing brand Matilda Jane is having an on-line Art Fair from Friday, May 15 - Sunday, May 17. I would love to get my hands on some of these limited edition goodies. Paige's suitcase for this trip had at least 80% Matilda Jane...see how much I love it and you will too so check it out! Maybe I can ask my husband to let me buy some MJC for Paige as my birthday gift...it's an addiction I tell ya.

One of my favorite Ebay designers is Jolie B, she does some of the most amazing work and your little Princess can wear it at least 2 years so it makes up for the high price tag. I was thinking of getting the Cinderella set for Paige, as any little girl she loves all things Princess.

Another must have I found on Etsy for baby Harlow by bumblebird, aren't these soft loveable dolls the cutest!

One last one on Etsy I have to share, I love this style and she has so many cute things. This is by PlainJaneBaby and I plan on getting some goodies for both Paige and Harlow, gosh shopping for girls is so much fun.

I must get one of the Fat Stack...Burp Me...Wipe Me...Wash Me sets for Harlow with the custom initial of course!

Love these Flowers for Paige (hey and I want one for me too!), so pretty!

And I think the girls need some matching Octopus tees, these are the cutest!

Playing with Butterflies

One of my favorite events to take the kids to is the annual Kiwanis Butterfly Festival which was held at Collin Creek Mall this year. The kids and I joined with our friends from the McKinney Mom's Group for this special event.

We then were given a swab dipped in Gatorade (good thing since Aiden of course put it in his mouth) to attract the beautiful butterflies that were held in an 800-square-foot netted conservatory. The best part besides the excitement and laughter is the pictures of course. We even brought home 2 chrysalis that will be ready to release in just a few days. We are heading to visit my dad and family in TN tomorrow for a week so I will defiently have a ton of pictures to share upon my return.

Just before we headed out...

The kids had the best time playing in the water before we headed in the exhibit

Definetly my favorite picture, she loved the butterflies
