Reading with Love

Both Paige and Aiden really enjoy reading to Harlow and one night last week Jon recorded Aiden reading to her using his iPhone, it was such a precious moment between them.

Tickles & Giggles at Bedtime

This past week I had a plan to keep my camera within reach and take pictures of the everyday stuff, this night in particular was bedtime.

It was when I looked at these pictures I realized how much fun we all have together in those last 30 minutes before bed.

Paige & Harlow Model for Two Monkey's Designs

It was so exciting have my girls get to model for such a beautiful clothing brand like Two Monkey's Designs, it's a bonus that the fabulous designer Karen lives just a few minutes up the street from me.

The photographer Jael DeYoung took some amazing pictures at the photoshoot at Chestnut Square in downtown McKinney.

Big thank you to both Karen for letting my girls model for you and Jael for capturing some amazing pictures of my girls. Both the memories of the photoshoot and the pictures of it are priceless!

Standing Pretty

Oh Harlow it seems like just yesterday I watched you swim into your daddy's arms and now here we are at 11 months with your first birthday only a couple of weeks away.

I took Paige and Aiden to a Summer Camp session today so I could catch up on some laundry and cleaning around the house but before all of that not so fun stuff I enjoyed some 1-on-1 time just hanging with Harlow.

Harlow just started standing a week ago but the past few days she has been perfecting her newfound skill by standing all the time. I know it won't be long before she starts walking along the furniture and then running around the house.

I took some pictures of Harlow today just before I woke her from her nap to get Paige and Aiden at Summer Camp and then some of her standing pretty at the couch.

I also never shared her 10 month pictures on Lulu (see below after today's pictures) and of course in a day or two will have her 11 month pictures to share with you all as well. Oh how quickly the first year goes.

Girl Scouts ROCK

Paige's Girl Scout Troop got together today for a rock themed craft and party. The girls each got to decorate their own guitar and then formed a super cool 'all girl' band and played rock-band together. I even dressed up Harlow so she would be rockin' the themed party.

My 2 Beautiful Girls

I took these pictures this past week of Paige and Harlow and they came out so cute I just had to share them with you.

Tutu Cute in Dear Lillie

I was so excited when I got my most recent order from Dear Lillie, this tutu with the clip-on flower is gorgeous and so well made.

I knew my first tutu had to be blue to compliment Harlow's big blue eyes but I can tell we already need another because these are not only great for pictures, but also for play-time and how cute will Harlow be wearing a tutu while we wait at Paige's dance class.

She insists on taking the clips out of her hair, I keep trying and trying but as soon as I put it in she takes it out...she usually wins.

My model is tired...it's naptime
